Apparently THOUGHTS trigger ads now...😩 And that is really not cool. If I could, I would turn off every data collection thingy on here. But, because I am at Shopify's mercy, I have to do what they tell me. So here's how BurntOutCandles.com (aka Shopify) handles your digital privacy. 

Like it says in the Privacy Policy - Shopify collects personal info when you interact with BurntOutCandles.com using cookies and similar tech (thats how the internet works these days). Shopify shares that info with third parties like advertising platforms in order to show you what they might think are more relevant ads to your interests instead of say, male "enhancement" devices. Or maybe that is your thing. Who knows. There's no judgement here.

Anyways, depending on where you live, this info-collecting is considered “selling,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising", and Shopify needs your permission to do that. As they should. But those sneaky bastards automatically opt you in, unless you opt-out here. So please do that. Trust me, I dont want your data. I just want you to sell you some funny candles disguised as art. Or is it art disguised as candles? I bet Andy Warhol would know.

Or, if your browser has Global Privacy Control (GPC) enabled, and you're in a place where that applies, it is treated it as a do-not-track request automatically and you don't have to do a thing.
